History Scholarship
The JCCC Department of History offers scholarships to students committed to studying history
Who Is Eligible
Students who plan a history
major or minor and have completed one semester of college work with a GPA of at
least 3.0 are eligible. During the term of the award, the winner must be
enrolled in at least one history class and in at least six hours of credit
classes at JCCC.
What
the Money Can Be Used for
Scholarships can be used for
tuition, fees, books, and on-campus child care.
How
Much Is Available
Award amounts vary depending on
the number of applicants as well as each applicant’s academic record and
demonstrated level of commitment to history. Past awards have ranged from $200
to $600 dollars per semester.

Download an application form

http://staff.jccc.edu/vclark/. Complete the form and include a letter
describing your interest in studying history and a letter of recommendation from
a JCCC history instructor. Put these materials in the box of Dr. Vincent Clark
in OCB 261.
