In my spare time I write and perform poetry, and when I
bought a computer oh-so-many years ago, I decided to merge
my interests with the world of electrons. When I first
started, I edited and published various Macintosh-only
electronic literary publications. These scribblings were
produced under the banner of Poetry Ink
Productions (hence the big fancy logo at the top
of this page).
From May 1995 to February 1997, I published Poetry
Ink, a freely distributed award-winning electronic
literary magazine. Poetry Ink contained a
lively mix of poetry, short fiction, essays, commentary,
reviews, and instructional techniques that was just too
good to last.
Originally published first using DocMaker and then
eDoc--both Macintosh-only formats--the magazine switched to
ASCII format in August, 1996, with back issues converted to
ASCII in October, 1996.
Archived here are all the issues of Poetry
Ink in ASCII format. These files look best when
viewed in a monospaced font such as Courier or Courier New.
I no longer have copies of the original DocMaker and eDoc
issues, but if you happen to have one or more of them
archived, please let me
know, as I would love to post them here.
If you are a past contributor to Poetry
Ink, please drop me a line and let me know what
you are up to, as I'd like to get a list of current links
to authors up on this site.
Finally, please be aware that the contact information in
these issues is no longer valid and that Poetry
Ink is no longer accepting submissions.
