Web Site About Cloning
I'm not at all certain who wrote this page. Apparently, it is somebody
named Robby. From that captivating title to the end, I don't find this to
be a particularly reputable source. Still, it popped up very high in a Google search on "cloning." That should tell you something right away.
Google and other search engines do a good job of indexing the millions of pages
on the web, but they are very limited in helping us distinguish the good from
the bad. What makes me reluctant to trust "Robby"? Let me give you a
couple of hints:
- The advertisements and pop-ups associated with this page do little to
raise my confidence. One has to wonder what Robby is about here as he
provides his information. That by itself is not a tip-off to a bad
source, but it does nothing to raise my opinion.
- Robby might know a few things about cloning, but his English leaves some
room for improvement. In his opening headings he has a misspelled word,
a comma splice, and capitalization problems. Does that mean the source
is no good? No, but again, it makes this reader pause.
- Robby's other pages appear to be swiped from other places. They
probably contain some valuable information, but since I cannot tell where they
came from, I cannot trust them.
In the end, I would have to consign Robby's work to the rejection pile for my
writing.
