Evaluating Sources: They're Not All Clones! |
![]() |
Unlike Dolly the sheep, all sources that you encounter as you perform research are not clones. So how do you distinguish the quality sources from those that you should ignore? Let's examine a few sample sources--all focused on the topic of cloning--to help us understand how to evaluate sources. As you follow the links below, you'll proceed to framed pages. In the top of each page, you'll find an actual live page from the Internet. On the bottom, you'll find some commentary on the evaluation of this source. Since I have no control over the top half, you might find a broken link or that the bottom commentary doesn't seem to correspond with the top page. If that happens, I'd appreciate a note so that the page can be updated.
